I think is more related to the parsing of documentation,  as the
previous warnings.
These are the only two scripts referring to core optimset in these form:

$ grep  "@code{optimset" *
nonlin_residmin.m:## referred to below. The fields can be set by 
@code{optimset()} with
residmin_stat.m:## @code{optimset} with Octave versions 3.3.55 or 
greater; with older


No clue why this could be a problem on 3.5.92+
