I don't know much about this packages but here's what I can say about some: * audio - probably good to package. I remember users asking about it on the mailing list about it so people do use it * fixed - wait for the next release to package this one. The current release does not work under 3.6 but jwe and Jordi have fixed it and are just solving some small issues with it to make a new release. The development version already installs without problems so shouldn't take much longer > The following packages have never been in Debian. Please, tell us which > ones must absolutely get in. I also don't know much about this packages but here's the one that I do know about: * generate_html - don't port this one. I believe this only used by octave forge developers to generate the documentation for the website * es and pt_br - these are part of the translation project. They basically add a new function (help in another language) and serve translated help for such languages. However, the translations are from back in 3.2 and no one is working on them anymore. I don't think it's good to package them * geometry and mechanics - these 2 packages are new and under active development. I believe it would be nice to package them * dataframe - this is a new package and is kinda handy. I think it would be good to package it Carnë ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF email is sponsosred by: Try Windows Azure free for 90 days Click Here http://p.sf.net/sfu/sfd2d-msazure _______________________________________________ Octave-dev mailing list Octave-dev@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/octave-dev
