Hi guys,
The war of GUI-vs-CLI will never end. I face it, accept it and live with
it. Octave is ugly at the first look but shining like a diamond in the
bone. The ideal is that we have the best of both worlds: a superb CLI
support and a professional GUI. I use the word 'professional' here meaning
the GUI is not only beautiful/fancy not also make it effective to get
things done. The good news is we already have the CLI, the sad news is
making GUI is hard.
Considering that we probably will be given one or two seats for students in
Google SoC, we really need to make the goals feasible.
Thanks,
JC
