I have finally managed to build atlas-3.9.79 and then octave-3.6.2 and many
packages, includingcontrol-2.3.51.
Running 'test_control' produces results to be found below. To me they look
quite similar (though they are not exactly the same) to the results above - the
latter are with atlas-3.8.4.
If you guys think it's a bug in ATLAS, can you file a support request against
ATLAS ?
