Dear All, I have noticed that there is no support for fminbnd in Octave 3.2.4 for Kubuntu 12.04. I really need to use this function and I was wondering if it is possible to download the corresponding code for the package optim-1.0.17 and compile it myself in order to have it functional.
I have already tried updating to Octave 3.6.2, but my code takes ages to be executed in this new version. Thank you very much in advance.
