Hi Juan, Version 1.3.0 of the mechanis package has the same problem with installation prefixes which we had before with the geometry package. It produces the following warnings on load:
> pkg load mechanics warning: addpath: /usr/lib/octave/packages/mechanics-1.3.0/molecularDynamics: No such file or directory warning: addpath: /usr/lib/octave/packages/mechanics-1.3.0/ocframe: No such file or directory warning: addpath: /usr/lib/octave/packages/mechanics-1.3.0/core: No such file or directory The package was installed with prefix /usr/share/octave/packages, and that's where those directories can be found.
