Thanks for the tips, they all sound like a good idea - I'll aim to follow them
for future code. (Yup, I've been trying to keep the code so that it also works
in Matlab where possible.)
When you're ready with everything else just go ahead and release the package, I
can't guarantee I'll be able to tidy up the remaining function quickly so I
don't want to hold things up.
