My sense is that the release votes are more technical than in other cases where
it is a question of support or desirability.

The idea is to have inspected the release and determine whether the
requirements for a podling release are satisfied. I think it is a matter of
finding no show-stopper around IP clearance, the preparation of the package
(notices, signatures, and such), or noticing that there is some sort of problem
building or running it.

(I'm new to this too, so I can't be more certain than that. I found no basis
for a -1 but am not competent to assert +1 in my limited understanding of the
ODF Toolkit. Hence my non-binding and symbolic =0.)

Hi Louis,

Welcome to the list. It is good to have another ODF warrior here.

Anyone can vote by responding to the [VOTE] thread. Everyone's votes
are welcome, as expressions of support or concern, though in this
particular ballot only members of the Incubator PMC (the IPMC) have
binding votes.
