Svante, I lurk here but remain interested in ODF as elemental to a toolkit. I will see you in Budapest and maybe London. I'm curious what you see as the future if not for ODF then for this podling. (BTW, there's a famous quote by Samuel Johnson, "When a man knows he is to be hanged...it concentrates his mind wonderfully." The longer quote and context is interesting; much of Johnson's life is.)
I think a larger question that could also be asked--and London seems right for it--would be something like, Quo vadis ODF? or as it is in the future, Quo vadetis ODF? louis On 25 October 2014 09:02, Svante Schubert <[email protected]> wrote: > John, > > Rob suggested retirement/attic, but there where voices against it as well. > > I am sitting on a fork of Open-XChange, where I have been working 2 > years full-time and there is no decision on redistribution being made so > far. > Going to be at the ApacheCon Europe this November and on the ODF > Plugfest in London. > To me it would be a failure to go to attic at this point, although the > past might indicate such a move. > > We should bring up this topic early next year and I will be discussion > this topic meanwhile on the meetings. > > Svante > > Am 25/10/14 um 14:48 schrieb John D.
