The archives will have been created by now, but if you want to wait a day to
double-check or so that's fine.
To delete the older archives you just delete from SVN as normal, e.g.
$ svn rm -m"Tidy up superseded release"
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/incubator/odftoolkit/CHANGES-0.5-incubating.txt
BTW, if you use a separate directory for each release this becomes a bit easier
as you can delete the entire directory.
You might want to consider that for future releases - see for example some of
the other podlings.
