Hello Olivier, you accidentally asked for the next release in a JIRA comment. Let me reply on the dev list instead to avoid unrelated discussion in the JIRA issue. In general, the next release to Maven central repository can be done, whenever someone believes it is worth to release, does the release work and finally finds sufficient votes for the release candidate (see Apache release management [1] <http://incubator.apache.org/guides/releasemanagement.html>). To me, it is important to add this collaboration feature <https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/d94c7ef2954f59253d90a118c18760d6ed1db92e3aea6a64649b343b@%3Codf-dev.incubator.apache.org%3E> to the sources. I personally will not invest time before that to initiate a release. If everything works out fine (in software it seldom does) I will be ready next March. Regardless, if someone is interested in doing a release, I'm sure there are volunteers on this list (including me) who will certainly bear a helping hand.
