The qte library (libqte) is currently being compiled with codecs disabled, which
means that software that depends on them - including many Japanese applications
- will not run properly and/or crash.
This issue can be resolved by removing the QT_NO_CODECS definition located at
lines 44-46 in the file 'packages/qte/qt-2.3.10/qpe.patch' (referring to current
version found in org.openembedded.354x branch). The patch file line count must
also be updated accordingly.
