seen on akita with the 3.5.4.1rc1 build:
when Opie initializes (immediately after the "Starting Opie in 5 seconds"
message)
screen blanks with a static cursor in upper right corner,
and system becomes completely unresponsive.
Needs battery-removal to reset and reboot again.
