------- Comment #4 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-05-12 09:47 ------- Justin, thank you for your comments. But "to be quite honest" they were only partially helpful. As I wrote, I made the backup on the SD card. I did the flashing with md5sum-verified images off the CF (!) card and then I made the mistake to try and transfer the backups from a running OZ system (albeit running somewhat incorrectly) from SD, to CF, to my laptop since my laptop has a CF but no SD slot. It is always easy to point fingers after file losses since off course in a perfect world that should never happen and I accept my part of the blame. OTOH, OZ has some severe problems here (I doubt that there is any kind of hardware problem involved as you suggested). It seems more like ejecting the card with the little icon on the lower right side does not unmount it. I have waited now for five minutes (if I need to wait that long there should be a warning!) and the icon tells me that ejection has been completed long ago. mount on the other hand shows that the card is still mounted. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.openembedded.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. _______________________________________________ Oe mailing list [email protected] https://www.handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/oe
