And therefore, when run from matchbox, doesn't work. :) Lots of error messages
resulting from its inability to write to directories it doesn't currently have
permission to write to.
As it stands, you must su to root (su - produces an error message which says
(gpe-package:4777): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display), then run gpe-package,
then try to do something, then wait 3 or 4 minutes, then check back to see if it
worked or if gpe-package crashed instead.
