Summary: Kernel Oops running iwconfig after upgrade to 3.5.4
           Product: Openembedded
           Version: OpenZaurus 3.5.4.x
          Platform: ARM
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: critical
          Priority: P2
         Component: Distributions
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
         QAContact: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

This may be related to #836, though it does appear to be distict. 836 seems to
be a configuration error. This is apparently a driver error.

Executing iwconfig after an install of 3.5.4 and subsequent upgrade results in
iwconfig reporting a segmentation fault. In addition an examination of the
kernel log reveals a kernel opps takes place as well.

Subsequent attempts to execute either iwconfig or ifconfig or cardctl eject
hang (0 cpu activity). Ifconfig responds normally prior to the first execution
of iwconfig.

Possibly related:
After a brief period of time, the card will no longer handshake with the AP,
regardless of whether iwconfig is executed.

Configuration:
Collie (5500)
D-Link DCF-650W
64-0 kernel
