Summary: update-modules postinst fails
Product: Openembedded
Version: OpenZaurus 3.5.4.x
Platform: ARM
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Build
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
QAContact: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
whenever I run ipkg to add, upgrade or remove packages I get the following
error from ipkg:
sh://usr/lib/ipkg/info/update-modules.postinst: Permission denied
postinst script returned status 126
ERROR: update-modules.postinst returned 126
It seems that script specified in the error message does not have the execute
permission bit set.
However, it is not the only script that's missing the x bit, but it is the only
one that makes ipkg print this error message on my oz 3.5.4.1 installation. I
wasn't able to notice any bad system behaviour because of that error, either.
Info about my system:
Sharp Zaurus C-860
OZ-3.5.4.1 opie image
the update-modules packages is at version 1.0-r4
Regards,
Dominik
