I have found that when building opie-image with kernel 2.6.17 for the poodle in
oz354x with the current meta data (7-17-06) that the initrd.bin is 'too large'
to be flashed without problems to the poodle.
I would suggest that someone change the /machine/poodle.conf
ROOT_FLASH_SIZE = â32â changed to-> â22â or â20â
and then modify the meta-opie.bb accordingly so it fits on flash
# additional things for a >= 24 mb distribution -> 22mb distribution
but will changing 24mb to 22mb (or 20mb) cause problems with any 'other' build?
if not... then remove something from -> task-opie-extra-games = âremove from
hereâ
or -> task-opie-extra-apps = âremove from hereâ
or is there a better way to control this?
