Thanks, I may try that. I found the same gpe-dm crash cycle with an Angstrom image I built with the .dev branch. And it's the Angstrom version I really want to build/try. Must be masochistic, but I like living on the bleeding edge. Currently building the.oz354x version to verify my OE environment can build a workable image.
I just have to figure out what needs to be added to a custom meta package so the .dev version has the setup/configuration scripts and apps.
