Summary: opie-reader segfaults with when opening chm file
Product: Openembedded
Version: OpenZaurus 3.5.4.x
Platform: ARM
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: minor
Priority: P4
Component: Distributions
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
QAContact: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Known affected distributions: OpenZaurus 3.5.4.1 and 3.5.4
Platform: Zaurus SL-C700 (corgi)
Opie-reader version: 1.2.1-r0
Using opie-reader to open a Windows Help File (with opie-reader-codec-chm
installed, of course) crashes the program with SIGSEGV. For a split second
before the crash the first page of the chm file is displayed.
I have tried to use ideograms and experimented with different encodings and
fonts, but still no go.
OpieReader works fine with plucker files, for instance.
I have traced program execution with the following command:
strace -fF -o strace.log opie-reader winmine.chm
and the output is attached.
Thanks in advance for any tips.
