Summary: 2.6.17 kernel on Tosa fails to recognize NAND partitions
Product: Openembedded
Version: OpenZaurus 3.5.4.x
Platform: ARM
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Build
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
QAContact: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I've resized my internal flash memory to allow for a larger root partition, but
the latest 2.6.17 OZ kernel doesn't recognize it. When booted into OZ and type:
cat /proc/mtd
I see:
dev: size erasesize name
mtd0: 006a0000 00020000 "Boot PROM Filesystem"
mtd1: 00700000 00004000 "smf"
mtd2: 01c00000 00004000 "root"
mtd3: 01d00000 00004000 "home"
When I'm booted into the Sharp maintenance ROM I see what I expect:
dev: size erasesize name
mtd0: 006a0000 00020000 "Filesystem"
mtd1: 00700000 00004000 "smf"
mtd2: 02d00000 00004000 "root"
mtd3: 00c00000 00004000 "home"
