Thanks for the reply. I tried doing this:
PACKAGES = "serializeclass"
FILES_serializeclass = "${D}${libdir}/libSerializeClass.so"
AUTO_LIBNAME_PKGS = "serializeclass"
and bitbake came back with:
NOTE: the following files were installed but not shipped in any package:
NOTE: /usr/lib/libSerializeClass.so
NOTE: Not creating empty archive for serializeclass-11424.1.1-r0
and the directory:
build/tmp/work/serializeclass-11424.1.1-r0/install/serializeclass
is empty. Also, when I did that there is no -dev directory or ipk.
Bitbake just doesn't seem to want to put a .so file in the
install/serializeclass directory.
Any Ideas?
