For those of you who are also managing vendor branches - when you make
changes that are relevant and you'd like to contribute them back, does
building the patch from your vendor branch cause any potential problems?
I have just built my last two patches from my vendor branch copy - which
is pretty darn up to date - but was unsure if submitting them in this
form causes anyone any harm. Please let me know and I'll adapt if
necessary.
