Daniel Kunkel commented on OFBIZ-674:
-------------------------------------

OFBiz supports a method of payment, COD, which means cash on delivery. In
essence, the post office will not deliver the package until the receiver gives
them money, which the post office gives to the seller.

Everything is great with the function as it now stands as a viable way to
accept payment for an order, with the one exception that an additional charge
should be calculated for the service, and it would be best if that feature
could be integrated into the radio button itself so the customer would
understand the ramifications of using the service.

As a new feature goes, it is very low priority yet should be tracked if no one
objects.

A no payment radio button might also be useful to implement when the invoice
total is $0.

Thanks

> It seems appropriate that a COD charge be computed, displayed and, if chosen
> added to the price of an order.
> Could any of the code written for postage estimation be reused, as that type
> of calculation scheme would probably be useful.
> --
> One other possible addition related to this is the potential need for a "no
> payment option." We've changed the COD string to read COD or No Payment, but
> there may be another better option.
> Thanks
