yes, marketing packages are a good way of handling similar processes and
I'm glad to get your positive feedback on them.
However, mine is a different issue: my need is to keep products'
inventory using a very precise uom, let's say millimeters, but express
the price for 1000 millimeter (i.e. 1 meter) of the product (because the
product is sold in quantities that are multiple of 1000 millimeters and
because the unit price for one millimeter could be a very small number
(such as 0.00001$).
