I've experienced this problem as well - just as you describe. I seem
to remember that commenting the sECA on reserveOrderItemInventory commit
in applications/order/servicedef/secas.xml stopped the loop, though at
the cost of lobotomizing some of the inventory chain.
This was sometime last month though, so I may be remembering wrongly.
