I was thinking of leaving them up there, but maybe because of this we
better not. We spent quite a bit of time as a community a few months
ago coming to the current logos including feedback, voting, looking
at other options, etc. I really don't want to open that up again
because there really are nearly infinite combinations of possible
logos and now that we have something updated we should stick with
that for a while and put our efforts in other places where they are
more critical at the moment.
This is nothing personal Rafik, and for me the issue is not whether
or not these proposed logos are good or bad, the issue is that we've
already gone through this and made a decision and I don't think we
should re-open that. So, Rafik, thank you for getting involved and I
hope you'll continue to stay involved on other issues!
So, to avoid any misunderstanding that these might be official logos
for OFBiz I'll go ahead and remove these from the issue.

Hi,
One more with the feather on top! Also, in the other images I sent
earlier - The idea is to use the feather to signify the arm of
the letter "b"; so we would have the "O" in white and the
surrounding green circle for the letter "b". Maybe the feather
should be
in green too or the logo should be in red.

Hello Jacques,
I am new to OFBIZ - Well sort of, I've been looking at it and
studying it for over 1 year now... I would love to get actively
involved soon! I am sending you my impression of what I believe the
incubator logo should artistically look like ( just a minor
rearrangment that I hope you like!!).
Good Luck.

Rafik, thanks so much for taking such an active interest in the
project
and spending some of your free time on these logo treatments.
When thinking about using either of the logos that you proposed - I
believe that there is a less than optimal use of space that may
make the
logo difficult to place on the site. On the other treatment, the
use of
the feather is a little bit more inline with other Apache project,
but
the rearrangement of the text changes some of the connotation.
Just my two cents and thanks again for contributing.
Cheers,
Tim
Thanks Rafik for your ideas,
I agree with Tim. Most of the time in Apache projects the Apache
feather is not used in the ways you propose.
Anyway your logos are now available for everyone who prefers them.
