I'm afraid I'm going to have to stick to my comments on the last issue where
some of these files were uploaded. Perhaps there was some misunderstanding, so
I'll try to make it clear again.
We spent a lot of time and effort getting the current logo to where it is and
the logo was voted on and accepted and we do NOT want to open up the issue
again for more effort. There are simply too many other far more important
issues and objectives to work on, and this logo has only been in place for a
couple of months.
The current logo meets the requirements that we have for an Apache OFBiz logo:
- the large logo has the full name of the project: The Apache Open For Business
Project, with the words in order and clearly legible
- the small logo has the full abreviated name of the project: Apache OFBiz
- we have a graphic element to represent Apache (the feather)
- we have a graphic element to represent the OFBiz project within the ASF (the
compass and power button combination)
- we have colors similar to those that have been used since the beginning for
OFBiz
