I've seen that you are working on this issue and this is a great news, thanks.
However, could you please start your work from the attached patch? It is a
slightly modified version of Peter's one: I did some formatting cleanups and
other small mods (to a service name).
I have not completed my review (no more time) but the patch looks really good.
