As many know who have been watching this or reading on the general incubator mailing list, the Apache OFBiz project has graduated from the incubator and been approved as a top level project at the ASF. In the very new future there will be various infrastructure changes because of this: 1. SVN Repository: changing from "http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ incubator/ofbiz" to "http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ofbiz", meaning the trunk is moving from "http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/ ofbiz/trunk" to "http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ofbiz/trunk" 2. Web Site: changing from http://incubator.apache.org/ofbiz/ to http://ofbiz.apache.org/, various information there will be changing as things progress (keep an eye out there for links to the most recent locations of stuff and links to things) 3. Jira: Staying in the same place, some minor information there will change 4. Mailing Lists: the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing lists will be changed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (for example ofbiz- [EMAIL PROTECTED] will move to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) So, what do you need to do? Fortunately not a whole lot, but there are a couple of things that you'll need to do as the various resources are moved: 1. For SVN: for new checkouts, exports, etc use the new URL; for existing sandboxes you can update the local meta data using the svn switch command, something like "svn switch http://svn.apache.org/ repos/asf/ofbiz/trunk" from your ofbiz home (trunk root) directory 2. For the Web Site: not much to do here, just set your browser home page to "http://ofbiz.apache.org"! 3. For Jira: nothing to do there, just keeping on participating in issues! 4. For Mailing Lists: the archives and subscriptions and such will be moved over, so all you need to do is start sending your emails to the new mailing list addresses Again, please note that you shouldn't make these changes right now. This email is just a warning that these changes are coming. We will send out other emails as the actual changes occur. Enjoy... -David
