Thanks. I think it turned out to be a bug in the accounting code (see previous message). At the very least, the accounting code didn't account for a null pointer, so even if there is still a problem with the POS code at least accounting is a little bit more robust.

Don't be too surprised... chances are this is the case. The POS application is still pretty young and it was written for companies with larger deployments that always have this sort of thing streamlined.

So, you'd probably have to make code and UI changes in order to support this.
