I totally agree with this POV and believe that we must clear from everywhere
old, false and deprecated informations.
But this cost time (or money if you want) and I look forward to any efforts in
in this direction.

However I will create a Jira issue to point some places where such old, false
and deprecated informations may be found.
For a beginning I will use yours ;o)

http://ofbizwiki.go-integral.com/Wiki.jsp?page=OnlineUserManual
http://docs.ofbiz.org/display/OFBIZ/Application+Reference+for+Users
and / or
http://incubator.apache.org/ofbiz/docs/GettingAndUsingOFBiz.pdf
http://docs.ofbiz.org/display/OFBTECH/OFBiz+Basic+Production+Setup+Guide

I do not comment more the other (very interesting) part of this mail (and
sequels) because I'm not a PMC member.
But if I was one I think my 1st reflex should be to think about how to organize
such a work... and I'm absolutly confident on PMC
members for this :o)

Thanks

Jacques
