Hi,

After a period of time try to a satisfactory way of documenting software
the following reference was given to me by Alastair Fordyce of Bremca
Industries Limited.

The AS/NZS standard on preparation of function charts is

AS/NZS 4382:1996 Preparation of function charts for control systems.

I have yet to lay my hands on a copy, has any body looked at it? ie is it
worth the $60+ to buy it.

I have also being looking at 'Petri nets', for documentation
http://www.itr.unisa.edu.au/PetriNets/ but there does not seem to be a good
way of documenting complex transitions. Has any body looked at these and
any good tools ?

Thanks Maurice
