From memory the DBT is actually the memo file for a dBase table that contains memo fields. A bit like the .MB file that paradox uses. If you open the DBF file of the same name then the memos should appear normally and you don't open the DBT file.

I have come across a database file with a .dbt extension. Can anyone tell me what animal this is and can I import to .db or .dbf or .mb etc.  How does the BDE read this file?
