4.2 did not support declarative referential integrity so it was all done with triggers.
It might be worth importing the table definitions into a data modelling tool, tarting
up the RI and then getting it to write your create table statements.

Subject: [DUG-OFFTOPIC]: MSSQL 4.2 --> MSSQL 7
Hi all,
I'm doing a review of a Delphi 1 app purpose written by someone else for a client,
where they used MSSQL 4.2. It
needs to be made Y2K compliant.
The budget will only allow for an upgrade to MSSQL 7 rather than the desired upgrade
to Interbase. (Due to the large
number of queries, stored procedures and trigger in MSSQLsyntax)
Has anyone had experience in taking MSSQL version 4.2 metadata up to version 7, or 6.5?
Any gotchas?
Any hair left?
TIA
Gary
PS: New app will be coded in Delphi 4 of course.
