I have managed to download it but I can't say what the connection was like
as I left it going overnight and didn't actually see it happen. But I
managed to download it though! so I can say for sure that the connection is
working. (At least last night it was :)

Subject: [DUG-OFFTOPIC]: New free TurboNote
Hi folks,
Sorry, rather off-topic, but it IS free, so...
The next release of our freeware TurboNote sticky note program
is now available form http://TurboPress.com/tbnote20.exe
It's only a 400K download so even those of you not already
addicted to it might want to give it a go.
Main improvements in V2.0:
* Known (rare-but-real) note-losing bugs eliminated
* Print note, undelete last note
* Notes with alarms, notes which roll up when not being viewed
* Custom note colours, defineable hotkeys
* Many other new UI/convenience features (like double-clicking a
note title to edit it)
NB: Existing users: your notes *should* be smoothly upgraded to
the format used by V2.0. However, this is the first ex-office
release of this version so, as a precaution, exit TurboNote and
back up your TurboNote directory before installing V2.0. Then, if
you have any troubles, you can revert to the old version if need be
(and we DO want to know about it!).
Oh, and we're after beta-testers of a network-enabled version -- if
you have 3 or more existing TurboNote users on a TCP/IP LAN,
please consider volunteering (reply directly to me).
Thanks, have a weekend! <g>
BTW (in a desperate attempt to get slightly on topic), has
anybody downloaded the new Interbase 5.6 release yet? Given
that it's 27MB, I'm wondering what the connection is like.
cheers,
peter
