I'm surprised I didn't see any other comments, I think keeping the
corporate image of the base company is good, also means you can have one
website for the full organisation, one place that people have to remember
etc. etc.
Also, if you want to have email robots/mailing lists, if you have a domain
name ( and access to things like majordomo on your server ) you can add as
many lists and things under different aliases/addresses.
