Ghost would do that and more - may be over kill though as it stores the
entire drive.
BTW - I highly recommend ghost for testing various configs - nothing worse
than finding out you latest lovely bit of software dies when installed on a
machine with (or without) various odd bits of MS crap installed on it.

This would include the entire windows folder and the registry.
Apparently HP and Compac have put some software together that boots off a CD
so if your machine goes to crap you can boot off the cd and reinstall your
machine. But this software is not available to the public.
