Thanks, Patrick - trouble is that the ones in Images/Buttons vary from OK to unusable (eg. delete, undo). There is, of course, also the classic - fileopen.
Even 'filesave' is not the one we see in the IDE.
The 'delete' and 'undo' buttons in the BDE Admin program are in line with "standards" - would be nice if these were supplied in the Images library.

I can accept that the Explorer, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, ... icons are MS copyright but surely not the generic functional ones.

I am using AMNSoft Glyph Selector to retrieve images - just not finding any useful targets.

If you have installed Delphi right the Borland ones are in the Images/Buttons directory. If you mean standard as in MS, well they are probably copyrighted to MS :)

Subject: [DUG-OFFTOPIC]: Standard Icons & Bitmaps

Can someone please point me to where I can get a copy of the standard bitmaps for Open, Close, Delete, Cut, Paste etc.
Or is there a way I can get them out of my desktop applications?

TIA
