Part of the intent of this list is to show market-place interest in certain features to
provide prioritisation for the Delphi development team based on financial return...
In which case the voting process and the addition or alteration process should help
drive
priorities for items in the 'if we get time' basket...

Unforunately I had no market at present in the linux sector although our move to a 3+
tier
model in our next incarnation of our flagship product might produce some interest in
this
option as a very cheap means to an end... There is still too little information in my
hands
of Kylix plans for database access and windows<>linux code portability (mainly dues to
probable VCL differences) .
