Hi delphians:

I'm taking choices on the data transmission service to be contracted for a
client/server project. The thing is that Frame Relay is paid with a monthly
(expensive) cuote and X.25 with a per-transmission-volume (also expensive)
cuote. For X.25 I only need to buy an X.25 interface card which is shipper
than buying a router ($800 UDS's minimum) for every point connected to the
Frame Relay net. Frame Relay allows a fixed own bandwith no matter the
congestion and is faster too (I need speed, as much as possible). The project
is not programmed yet and I wonder if there is any tool for monitoring the
amount of data transmited in a client/server environment. This could be very
important while testing the software, to determine if X.25 is a feasible
choice to use without the fear of paying a lot of money for a misscontrolled
data transmission or if paying a monthly cuote (maybe shipper than paying for
transmission volume) would be preferable. Any advices? Recomendations? URL's?
  TIA,
