Go to Tools, Internet Options

Click the Content tab then click Autocomplete
In the Autocomplete tab, click Clear Passwords and / or Clear Forms.

Set your options for the future while you are there. If you want IE to remember names but not passwords, clear the checkbox that reads "Prompt me to save passwords". This will mean only names are saved, if the check box "User names and passwords on forms" is checked.

Subject: [DUG-OFFTOPIC]: hady microsoft

Using MS IE 5 I have accidentally typed my password into the field of my name. Since then IE kindly offers me a choise of my name and a password whenever I type the name into the field.

I tried to do a search in the registry for my password, could not find it.

I have a kid using my computer and and would not really like to give her a clue about my passwords pattern. Does anyone know how do get rid of prompts/hints displayed in the IE fields ?

Thanks
Alex
