[DUG-OFFTOPIC]: BLOB / Interbase question

When a BLOB field is updated, that is, when I change the BLOB ID stored in a table, do I need to delete the old (and now unreferenced) BLOB? Or does Interbase automatically take care of this?     Cheers,   Andrew
