Just wait a until mid-year when the Free Version is released. Only allows
you to program GPL apps but will give an idea what Kylix is about....

Just looked at the price of Kylix desktop in the states - US$999 !!

This is just to big a jump for someone who needs to determine if the product
is what is required.
Surely we can have a foundation version (or some such) at a low price to
evaluate the product.
I would have thought that if Borland are serious (which I am sure they are)
they would have realised that the success of the good old Turbo Pascal, and
subsequently Delphi, was due, to a large extent, to the entry price (I think
US$99)
Bugger - I was looking forward to dickering with Kylix :-{
