"Downloaded this one but it required a reboot after an install so I didn't
try it" - glad I am not the only one who does tehis then....hahahaha

I have tried and used DVD Santa before. It seemed to do a res. Job. THINK it
let you add transitions etc.
But now I just use Camtasia and burn the AVI to DVD.

Subject: [DUG-Offtopic] DVD Slideshow software

Guys,

Anyone want to recommend some software to burn a bunch of photos to DVD and
have them display as sideshows.

I downloaded 4 last night and tried out two of them. I think I like the
first one I tried (although it took a lot longer to burn the DVD than I
would have liked - but I have a sloooow dvd burner).

1. This is the one I am favouring:

2. I also burnt a disk using this one however, while the trial add
displayed, I couldn't get the slideshow to run - in fairness I was in a
hurry to leave this morning.

3. Looked at this interface but didn't like it that much.

4. Didn't try this one but might give it a shot tonight:

5. Downloaded this one but it required a reboot after an install so I didn't
try it:
http://www.photodex.com/

6. I see ULead also have one but their website won't load for me. I actually
have a ULead version of a VCD creator from about 4 (or more) years ago.

What would be nice is the ability to copy the files to disk so they can also
be viewed in explorer. The first one in the list allowed for this. Items 2
and 3 didn't support this.

So anyway tried/used/purchased any of these?

thanks,
Jeremy
