MessageHi John,
When I open your 2nd message, the reply to Colin, I get a script error. Looking
at the source, your message contains a line:
<SCRIPT src=3D"http://127.0.0.1:3793/xpopup.js" type=3Dtext/javascript></SC=
RIPT>
That code is not present in your first message, nor in Colin's one. It probably
has been replicated in this reply of mine - I can see it there in the draft.
Perhaps you have a popup blocker, or some piece of malware, installed, and it's
interfering with your java?
Brian

Hi Colin
www.tv3.co.nz shows fine but e.g. http://home.nzcity.co.nz/weather/ crashes
halve way. Also e.g. I can't select any java links on www.kiwiwebhost.co.nz
Any ideas anybody?

This is probably not the reason but everyone should read this article
anyway :-
http://www.geekzone.co.nz/freitasm/3335
I've just reloaded Jave instead of patching it but even so when I look at
YouTube all's OK but if I try www.TV3.co.NZ or TVOne for that matter, when
browsing with Mozilla Firefox (2.0.0.4) XP-Pro crashes completely.
Any ideas anybody?
Cheers
Colin

Subject: [DUG-Offtopic] Java stopped working
Hi all
All my Java links on IE and Firefox stopped working on my PC. I suppose
the Java drivers have been "damaged". Has anybody any idea how to fix this?
(could not find any useful on web).
Thanks
John
