He may be talking about CAPICOM?

I've used it in the past to sign/encrypt stuff using digital certs,
dunno if it can be used to actually generate certs or not.

Just thought I'd mention it, maybe it gives you another avenue to
pursue.

Cheers,

C.

Subject: [DUG-Offtopic] Digital Certs

Hi All.
we have gone down the raod of investing in soem controls that generate
some Digital certs for us. It all works well, EXCEPT.....our network
engineer pointed out to use we cant revoke any certs because the client
certs have not been generated by the CertServer that the root cert was
generated on.
He then said "why nmot use the API that Microsoft supply to do" .......
however, I cant get any result or rather any HELPFUL fresults form
google..
I thought we might be able to import the certs we generated, but
apparently we cant.

Just wondering if anyone has seen or used this "API" that MS provide.
I assume its prob. a commandline tool rather than an API.

Thanks, Jeremy
