He may be talking about CAPICOM? I've used it in the past to sign/encrypt stuff using digital certs, dunno if it can be used to actually generate certs or not. Just thought I'd mention it, maybe it gives you another avenue to pursue. Cheers, C.

It all works well, EXCEPT.....our network engineer pointed out to use we cant revoke any certs because the client certs have not been generated by the CertServer that the root cert was generated on. He then said "why nmot use the API that Microsoft supply to do" ....... however, I cant get any result or rather any HELPFUL fresults form google.. I thought we might be able to import the certs we generated, but apparently we cant. Just wondering if anyone has seen or used this "API" that MS provide. I assume its prob. a commandline tool rather than an API. Thanks, Jeremy
