You could try a repair installation in Add/Remove Programs... From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Colin/Mina Sent: Monday, 8 December 2014 5:40 p.m. To: [email protected] Subject: [DUG-Offtopic] Windows Excel 2003 - Ruined Importance: High
Hi, Up until reasonably recently (August) I was able to use my version of Excel 2003 (11.8404.8405) XP-SP3 to create charts from column data and summate same using the "CHART WIZARD" and "SUMMATE" tool. When attempting to use these tools earlier today I find that the features no longer exist and despite reading the appropriate HELP files I cannot re-install them. Interestingly after loading old *.xls files that displayed charts and summated columns they still showed what they should. Am I going crazy?, Has my PC lost some files?, or has M$ deliberately put a spanner in the works in view of its vow to no longer support XP? (or old versions of M$Office) Have any of you any suggestions as to how I can fix my problem without spending (much) money? Regards Colin Dillicar
