Actually, the $5k made NO difference to me in what actions I took. The $5k would make a difference IF I had it now but ....... As I said, I had assumed that my attempts to explain to them why they should use only legit software were lacking but they weren't. This company has no problem with what they are doing. That is the reason I phoned the MS Piracy line and any decision I make about this situation now will not be influenced by the possibility of $5k. And that is why I am broke - money is not the most important thing - principles are.
