Yeah, I know but couldn't resist. :-) Dunedin has other attractions, as 
does Chch I freely admit, to offset the weather. (though still think it 
snows and frosts more in Chch than Dud but that is based on entirely 
subjective assessment with no climate data to back it up). And no, I most 
certainly am not missing the Wellington wind, especially the Oct to Jan 
gales. But then as the song says "you cant beat Wellington on a good 
day..." - especially careening around the harbour in a yatch.
